Bembridge Coast Hotel

Beautifully British Escapes

Designed as the ultimate staycation destination

From a holiday camp on Hayling Island to 16 unique properties

Warner Hotels celebrated an incredible 90-year milestone in 2022. The brainchild of Captain Harry Warner in 1932, it has developed into a UK-based holiday group that specialises in short breaks exclusively for adults (over 18s).

Hotels and villages

The collection includes hotels within the English counties of Berkshire, Cheshire, Hampshire, Herefordshire, North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Somerset, Surrey, Warwickshire, and the Cotswolds – as well as a Victorian folly near Snowdonia in North Wales. These properties are mostly Grade I and Grade II listed, with period detail and heritage grounds and gardens visited by a number of notable historical figures, such as William of Orange, Henry VIII, Jane Seymour, William Pitt and the late Queen Mother.

The latest of these properties is The Runnymede on Thames, just five miles from the historic area of Windsor. The beautifully modern hotel is situated on the banks of the River Thames, and perfectly balances the peacefulness of an escape with proximity to exciting local attractions such as Eton and Windsor Castle.

Several locations benefit from beautiful sea views and easy access to some of Britain’s most celebrated beaches and coastlines, from Sandown Beach on the Isle of Wight to the East Anglian shores across Suffolk.

Quality accommodation

Rooms range from suites with four posters and roll top baths to contemporary chalet-style lodges by the sea to suit all styles and budgets. Designed with comfort in mind, the hotel rooms feature space to relax and unwind with personal touches to create a home-from-home ambience. Signature rooms, Royale rooms and suites offer extra opulence, plus Temple Spa toiletries and a well-stocked tea tray.

Music and shows

Entertainment is a trademark of Warner Hotels with live shows and dancing every night – 13 of the properties feature a purpose-built theatre and dance floor for concerts by visiting acts, choreographed shows from the hotel team, comedy, tribute sets and festivals.

Three of the hotels have cabaret restaurants with dining and the show in the same venue. Visiting stars include the professional dancers from Strictly Come Dancing, Michael Ball OBE, Russell Watson, David Essex OBE, The Royal Butler, and Dara Ó Briain.

Included in the price

Each Warner Hotels break includes breakfast, three-course dining, access to spa and leisure facilities, activities and live entertainment each evening. Dinner offers a choice of table service or assisted buffet with the roast of the day served from the carvery.

Every hotel has an indoor pool – Sinah Warren and The Runnymede on Thames both also have an outdoor pool. A wide range of activities are on offer including, cocktail making, gin tasting, falconry, afternoon tea, archery, laser clay shooting, and more.

*In addition to the main restaurant, Studley Castle, Heythrop Park, Thoresby Hall, Nidd Hall and The Runnymede on Thames feature Brasserie32, named after the year Warner Hotels began its story. Alvaston Hall and Heythrop Park offer traditional pub food in the Cheshire Barn and The Travelling Duke.
