“If music be the food of love, play on” – Warner Hotels hosts midsummer production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night

Do you know a theatre aficionado? A hotel group is transporting guests to another world and another time with a Shakespeare staycation.

Adult-only hotel group, Warner Hotels has announced the return of its midsummer production of Shakespeare’s much-loved comedy, Twelfth Night. The outdoor production will be touring in the grounds of a number of Warner’s country manors and castles, which will provide the perfect historic background for an evening of Shakespeare.

This unmissable and mischievous production from multi-award nominated theatre company, Immersion Theatre, will see audiences treated to an interactive, laugh-a-minute version of Shakespeare’s whirlwind comedy full of mistaken identity, music, and of course, the mayhem of love!

To add to the magic of the outdoor theatre, renowned chocolatier, Hotel Chocolat, will be rolling up with its ‘Chocmobile’ to provide the perfect sweet treat for a bittersweet story – whether that’s a luxurious velvetised hot chocolate, a scoop of the ‘ice cream of the Gods’, or one of its infamous selection boxes.

Once the performers have taken their final bows, guests will be able to experience a number of activities included in the cost of the break, including archery and laser clay shooting. Access to the hotels’ spa facilities is also included in the stay, providing the perfect place for guests to relax, reflect on the performance, and return to the modern world.

Head of entertainment, Matt Williams said: “We are so excited to welcome Immersion Theatre back to Warner to wow our guests with an interactive rendition of Shakespeare’s well-loved Twelfth Night.

“The performances have always proved successful, and entertainment is one of the many reasons guests come to Warner. We have such wonderful outdoor spaces that offer the perfect setting for an evening of theatre to provide our guests with a truly unique and memorable experience.”

Warner’s outdoor theatre breaks start from £319 per person for a three-night stay, which includes breakfast and three-course dinners, spa access and activities.

Bookings are now open. To find your next break, visit https://www.warnerleisurehotels.co.uk/breaks/theatre
