National hotel chain launches mud-free festivals

Festivals are back!

With big-name festivals like Glastonbury cancelled this year, one national hotel chain has decided to launch its own festival - with not a poncho or mud patch in sight.

Warner Leisure Hotels has a variety of festival breaks at its beautifully British properties across the UK – swapping out tents and wellies for something a little more luxurious.

Operating 14 luxury castles, manor houses and seaside getaways across the UK, the group is no stranger to putting on live-entertainment, with stars like Jane McDonald, Sheridan Smith and Russell Watson having graced the stage before.

Whether you’re eager to get up and groove or simply sing your heart out, the upcoming festivals offer a unique take on a typical UK break. Guests can choose from a savvy selection of events this summer, including the Tribute, Country and Reggae & Ska festivals, each of which features a carefully curated line-up of performers.

For those who can’t enough of the classics, the Tribute festival celebrates iconic rock and pop over the decades, from Prince to Elvis and George Michael to ABBA, as acts perform back-to-back hits for every generation of fan. Guests are encouraged to pull out the boots and don their hats for The Country music festival, and get down to the sounds of UB40 for Reggae and Ska.

Guests are spoilt for choice with entertainment at Warner with the shows being held at all 14 hotels across the UK, including historic country properties like Littlecote House in Hungerford and Alvaston Hall in Cheshire. A three-night tribute festival break on 27 August at Alvaston Hall Hotel costs £419 per person sharing a standard room.

Simon Thompson, managing director of Warner Leisure Hotels, said “The excitement of live shows and music is very much a part of the Warner experience, and we’re hosting a number of new festivals to suit every kind of music fan.

“Our festivals celebrate the world’s most popular music genres and have always drawn a big following, simply because there’s something for everyone to enjoy with an amazing atmosphere.

“We’re encouraging guests to get involved with the buzz of a live experience alongside like-minded music fans – where we hope you’ll get up, grab a glass and have some fun!”
