Warner Hotels comes up trumps in survey by Which? As a Recommended Provider of small hotel chains October 2022
A leading adult-only hotel group has fared well by the consumer champion Which? To achieve Recommended Provider Status – and has been ranked among the highest for value for money.
Renowned for short breaks exclusively for adults, Warner Hotels was rated by Which? Travel Magazine in a survey of several other major hotel groups.
The survey tallied results from over 4,500 guest stays to rank each hotel from one to five stars across 10 key categories, from entertainment and overall cleanliness to food offerings and even bed comfort.
The hotel group currently owns 15 properties across the UK, from historic country estates to quaint coastal villages. Guests can expect delicious three course dining, bed and breakfast, stunning nightly live entertainment, access to impressive spa and leisure facilities and outdoor activities – all included in the price of the stay.
With a customer score of 77 per cent, the hotel group was rated five stars for cleanliness and quality of the bedrooms, and customers praised the “modern, comfortable” rooms and “friendly welcome” offered by staff. It was also rated four stars for value for money, with multiple guests commenting that the inclusion of entertainment, breakfast and dinner made the stay worth its price tag.
When guests were asked to evaluate each hotel in terms of value for money, Warner also ranked of four out of five stars, with the final verdict being “great quality if you’re looking for an action-packed getaway.”
Simon Thompson, managing director of Warner Hotels, said: “We’re thrilled to be named Best Small Chain by Which? travel experts!
“Providing our guests with the perfect place to relax and unwind, whilst offering a holiday with lot of bang for your buck in terms of value for money, is hugely important to us – particularly in today’s climate where rates are on the rise across the board.
“Our talented team members work incredibly hard to provide a welcoming experience at Warner, and we’re continuing to invest in exciting developments to make our breaks the very best they can be.
Guy Hobbs, Editor of Which? Travel, said: “With the average price of a UK hotel stay now costing a fifth more than it did last year, travellers want to be sure they are getting the best possible experience for their money. Our results show that price isn’t necessarily an indicator of quality and many respondents reported fantastic stays with brands including smaller chains like Warner Hotels.”
As an additional part of the status, the hotel group has also been rated with Recommended Provider status, a prestigious accreditation that certifies an organisation based on Which?’s highest standards.
