Warner Leisure Hotels open again on May 17
If you’re longing for a break in the beautiful countryside or beside a stunning coastline, Warner Leisure Hotels are waiting to greet you.
Their 14 UK properties, including luxurious castles, manor houses and seaside hotels, open again on May 17 – offering bigger and better Covid-safe short stays from £224 per person.
After a £3 million investment, guests will find new restaurants offering mouth-watering menus, ultra-comfortable lounges as well as fabulous spas and first-class live music.
Marketing Director Mat Finch said: “We can’t wait to welcome back guests and they can be confident that all Covid health and safety measures are in place. And if they book, but their plans change, they can be refunded.
“We know families and friends, separated for long periods because of lockdown, plan to holiday in the UK this year, so we are pulling out all the stops to give them an amazing time.”
The Warner collection – for all ages from 21, tastes and budgets –includes eight country castles and manors, rich in architecture and history. They are close to national parks and Areas of Outstanding Beauty in England and Wales, so perfect if you like walking or hiking.
Those who prefer the beach and breathtaking sea views can choose from six seaside hotels and villages in Suffolk, Hayling Island and the Isle of Wight.
The list of things to do is endless, including yoga, golf, archery, snooker, wine tastings and dance workshops. There are also trips to local towns and attractions. And live music and shows includes a production of Romeo and Juliet, and performances from TV and stage stars including Sheridan Smith, the Hairy Bikers, Grammy winner Billy Ocean and Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton du Beke and Erin Boag.
One of Warner’s most impressive properties is 18th century Nidd Hall, where Edward VIII is said to have met Wallis Simpson at a party, set in 45 acres of award-winning gardens in North Yorkshire. And it is one of the first to debut Warner’s new Brasserie32, which champions British heritage recipes. Guests at all 14 Warner properties will enjoy superb food in the new table-service restaurants Market Kitchen. Two nights at Nidd Hall from June 21, including breakfast and dinner, costs from £224 per person, based on two people sharing.
Two nights at Victorian Alvaston Hall in Cheshire, which has a new Cheshire Barn Pub & Kitchen serving hearty food, costs from £235 per person including breakfast and dinner, based on two people sharing.
