You can now become a hotel tester and get paid to stay in a brand-new country manor

Warner Leisure Hotels is giving one lucky candidate the opportunity of a lifetime, with the chance to stay at Heythrop Park, in the Cotswolds, for free, and get paid £500 for their troubles.

The hotel includes an award-winning spa, live entertainment, fine dining and an 18-hole championship golf course. The lucky candidate will be required to report back on their experience at the 300-year-old Grade II* listed property– from how plump the pillows are, to the bubbliness of the outdoor hot tubs and their favourite dish on the menu.

Heythrop Park will leave the hotel tester with nothing short of things to do, with vibrant bars, exciting activities and secluded hideaways at their disposal.

Set in 440 acres of breath-taking parkland, the hotel tester will have plenty to explore on scenic walks and bike rides, with hidden gems such as the ‘whale cave’ and a blissful waterfall to discover in the grounds. The candidate can also try something new by testing the activities included in the price of every stay, including archery and rifle shooting.

The ideal candidate should have great attention to detail and an honest approach – a bonus would be a passion for golf, as the hotel boasts a championship golf course.

And of course, the job description wouldn’t be complete without some serious R&R – the chosen hotel tester will have to report back on the hotel’s spa, complete with a brand-new thermal and sensory suite.
